Supported Blackfin Derivatives

Analog Devices offers many Blackfin derivatives. Currently the Linux kernel does not support them all. Only:

  • BF512, Rev 0.0 or higher
  • BF514, Rev 0.0 or higher
  • BF516, Rev 0.0 or higher
  • BF518, Rev 0.0 or higher
  • BF522, Rev 0.1 or higher
  • BF523, Rev 0.1 or higher
  • BF524, Rev 0.1 or higher
  • BF525, Rev 0.1 or higher
  • BF526, Rev 0.1 or higher
  • BF527, Rev 0.1 or higher
  • BF531, Rev 0.3 or higher
  • BF532, Rev 0.3 or higher
  • BF533, Rev 0.3 or higher
  • BF534, Rev 0.2 or higher
  • BF536, Rev 0.2 or higher
  • BF537, Rev 0.2 or higher
  • BF538, Rev 0.4 or higher
  • BF539, Rev 0.4 or higher
  • BF542, Rev 0.2 or higher
  • BF544, Rev 0.2 or higher
  • BF547, Rev 0.2 or higher

Note that the BF51xF, BF52xC, and the BF538F/BF539F derivatives should be supported just the same.

Supported Blackfin Platforms

Although the following specific platforms are used to test the Blackfin/uClinux dist, it should be possible to use the uClinux-dist on any robust Blackfin platform, with some minor changes.
