Supported Blackfin Derivatives

Analog Devices offers many Blackfin derivatives. Currently the Linux kernel does not support them all. And in buildroot Linux distribution, only bf6xx serial chips are supported. Only:

  • BF514, Rev 0.0 or higher
  • BF516, Rev 0.0 or higher
  • BF518, Rev 0.0 or higher
  • BF522, Rev 0.1 or higher
  • BF523, Rev 0.1 or higher

  • BF525, Rev 0.1 or higher
  • BF526, Rev 0.1 or higher
  • BF527, Rev 0.1 or higher
  • BF531, Rev 0.3 or higher
  • BF532, Rev 0.3 or higher
  • BF533, Rev 0.3 or higher
  • BF534, Rev 0.2 or higher

Supported Blackfin Platforms

Although the following specific platforms are used to test the Blackfin Buildroot distribution, it should be possible to use the Buildroot distribution on any robust Blackfin platform, with some minor changes.
