| 2007-04-22 | Posted By: Dimitar Penev Open Hardware T1/E1 board released! Sunday April 22, 2007, The first Open Hardware T1/E1 board for Blackfin has been released. The PR1 is a single span daughter card for BlackfinOne board with full support through astfin. All the required hardware documents are available at http://astfin.org/browser/hardware/pr1-basic/trunk or "svn co http://svn.astfin.org/hardware/pr1-basic/trunk pr1-basic" The driver is still under development, and final updates will be available in our svn shortly. (see astfin trunk) As per Mathieu, our driver Guru: "So now we do have a D channel … may be still a - 1|2 bit offset, but we are in ! we still need to identify a full Q921 frame patern sequence to confirm if MSB/LSB is ok and if we still have an offset or a frame slip … We are really close …" The fully integrated appliance with single span T1/E1, Blackfin CPU, NAND flash , hardware based echo cancellation and 128MB of SDRAM is already being developed, stay tuned... For images of PR1 please visit David's pages at http://rowetel.com/ucasterisk/hardware.html#pr For additional information please contact mark@astfin.org or padovani.mathieu@wanadoo.fr. astfin/bf1 team |
| 2007-04-08 | Posted By: Dimitar Penev Astfin has been released! Sunday April 8, 2007. The latest Blackfin uClinux Asterisk distribution called astfin has been released. It runs Asterisk 1.4.2 on STAMP and BlackfinOne platforms, it supports 4fx and pr1 boards and will soon support the production IP04 hardware. The authors have used concept of Buildroot to make the very complex embedded build process very simple. Astfin is the successor to uCasterisk, and is where intense Blackfin Asterisk software development and testing is now focused. The svn access is available at http://astfin.org. This is the first public beta thus tester's feedback will be greatly appreciated. Astfin Team |
